11 PM

Fred won't stay in his crib. He has been such a good sleeper so this makes me very sad. He let's me put him down. He doesn't cry. Then a few minutes later I hear his door shut (he always shuts doors behind him) on his way out of his room. So I pick him up and we start over. One time he went into the girls room. They are sleeping on the floor because Stella had an accident last night and I didn't get the plastic sheet washed. I would rather she have an accident on the floor than on the mattress. Fred went in and layed down between them. So I left him. Then I heard a bump and crying. He had a little goose egg between his eyebrows and a bloody nose. Not sure what happened. I took him into the bathroom to clean his nose. He wanted to brush his teeth. Then he wanted to read a book. Then I put him back down. Then I heard him cry again and he came out rubbing his leg. Now he is downstairs playing the piano. I'm tired.

Sorry Katie. That sucks. My sister was having the same issue with her two year old and bought a crib tent. She felt a little weird about it until she realized how awesome it was. She bought it used on Craig's list and said it was the best money she ever spent. You should check it out.

That kid makes me tired.

When Rachel was his age, she was the same way. We actually put a lock on the outside of her bedroom door. (I felt really mean doing that.) She had a bouncy seat in her closet. Because she could climb out of her crib but couldn't get back in, she always ended up sleeping in the closet.

Hi I'm Winnie and I make my baby sleep in the closet...

Sounds like that show supernanny. She just keeps putting the kids in bed a million times. I'm voting for the crib tent though, I know some parents who really love them.

so I am even worse- I would get the door handles that he cant turn. And he will learn pretty quick if he leaves his room he has to have the door closed...

Beat him Till he get's it! j/k You are so gonna have your hands full when he gets to pre-teen and Teen! Hey at least he is cute! In my mother's words, "The lord never gives you more than you can handle." to which I reply, I wish he didn't trust me so!
