Poolside

Our stay in Santa Clara is coming to an end. We have had a very nice time. My dad is out of school for the summer so when Fred took his morning nap I would go run, bike or swim (triathlon on Saturday). Then during his next nap we would go two doors down to Rachel's pool. They keep it warm. The kids love it. Especially Chloe, she never wanted to leave. My dad would bring Fred over when he woke up.
Jordan took the first three pictures, I took the rest.
I like the sun on Fred's eyelashes.
Tan and green-eyed:
This is the first time Chloe has swam without a life jacket. And she started diving on her own without prompting or instruction. She's pretty good.
I got tired of unsuccessful sunscreen applications and bought them
rash-guards:

I think we will be using our community pools a lot this summer but they will have to get used to cooler water.

Chloe looks like a pro! I'm a coach so I notice these things but her toes are even pointed! You should get that girl into diving classes!

I LOVE the b&w pic of Fred! Chloe looks like a S. California beach babe in that last photo.

Such cute pictures. Your kids look like true water bugs! I'm all about rash guards, why bother with sunscreen if you don't have to. I'm just wondering how to get sunscreen under their eyes without screaming!

You always have the cutest pictures of your kids. I'll miss seeing your fabulous scrapbook pages. You'll have to post some for us to see. Chloe's diving was very impressive. I've always wanted to be able to dive, but not in this lifetime.

katie, i have not commented forever but i check your blog always. first of all I am in awe of you.. moving, butterfly birthday party, triathlon.. three kids all on your own.. you are amazzing.. i don't know how you get everything done. wish i was as cool as you. what a fun mum.
second, you have the most beautiful children ever.. how is chloe!! hahahha. little surfie girl. jorden is a great photographer huh?
and i don;t think i ever commented about fred's teeth, well in australia my mum was telling me horror stories about all the things that can happen to babies and kids that she saw as a nurse. fred's teeth are nothing. but oh so devastating.poor little guy. can't wait to hug him. how did the triathlon go? we need to talk though i am sure you are crazy with the new house. CAN NOT WAIT TO SEE YOU.
